Lumea si Arta Comportamentului, prima etapa a proiectului SHARE

We have finished “Dress a child from Gheboaia” campaign

Afisari: 494 We would like to announce that we have successfully reached the ending of our “Dress a child from Gheboaia” Campaign – winter edition, through which we aimed to collect thick clothes for 105 children living in Gheboaia, Dambovita county. Our volunteers have sorted ceaselessly the clothes we had received from various sources and they made sure that every child gets some items necessary for winter. We would have liked to be able to cover all the needs, so that every child could be given the exact number of clothing items he/she needed, but we make this our goal for the future editions. We were glad to have such admirable young volunteers. Their care, patience and perseverance were key features for preparing the packages. Many thanks to Andrei, Cristina, Corina and Alexandra Maria!  🙂 You proved to be an amazing team mates and we are counting on you for the projects that are yet to come. 🙂We would like to thank Total Wash and Mrs. Raluca Negara that responded promptly and with kindness to our proposition and they offered their cleaning services free of charge for all the clothing items donated towards the children. Many thanks to the pupils in Mihai Viteazu and Tudor Vladimirescu Schools in Targoviste, as well as to the teachers Eliza Delureanu and Mihaela Cantea, along with all the other teachers, for supporting our cause.Lastly, we would like to show our appreciation towards the people who took action in this campaign, towards those who donated clothes in … Mai mult >>

“Joy in a Box” at the school of Gheboaia

Afisari: 1,326 Yesterday we have successfully reached the ending of the “Joy in a Box” campaign and we have brought happiness into the souls of the pupils attending the school of Gheboaia.Without knowing when we decided to deliver our gifts, it happened that we arrived in the same time with Santa Clause, who was spreading his gifts assisted by the town hall’s personnel. As a result, our volunteers gladly became Santa’s little helpers and surprised the children even more.We were welcomed warmly by all the teachers of the school along with the headmaster of the school, Mr. Mihai Tarba, by all the children eager to receive their presents and by the parents who have carefully “equipped” their small, but sturdy future representatives of their village for the artistic performance. The pupils delighted us with Christmas carols prepared under the careful guidance of the devoted teachers. The silvery voices echoed throughout the school while waiting for Santa, Christmas and the Christmas holiday.Beautiful, well behaved children whose smiles and joy convinced us that our efforts were worth it, proved us that they deserve our support in the future. Thus, Gheboaia remained in our hearts as being a community of beautiful people where we will come back next year with new projects and campaigns aiming to help the school, the children and their families, those who are in need socially and economically. We would like to thank those who stood beside us, as a sponsor or a volunteer. The week prior to this event was … Mai mult >>

Dress a child from Gheboaia- 100 children need winter clothes

Afisari: 4,915 The end of the year brings us new humanitarian campaigns initiated by the SinVi Foundation, especially in support of the children from disadvantaged families.Once involved in supporting the community from Gheboaia, Dambovita, through the campaign “Joy in the Box“, we found out that more than 100 children don’t have any winter clothes, being in school dropout because of the inability to cope with weather conditions.Within this campaign, we aim to collect clothing items and shoes especially for cold weather for over 100 disadvantaged children with ages between 3 to 14 years, school pupils or kindergarten children.Sorting and centralization take place in Bucharest and, depending on the location of the donor, we can communicate more addresses where the clothes can be sent to. They can also be sent by courier or by post.We must say that we care about the dignity of those we help and we want that the donated objects, even if they are used, to be in good condition, with no stains or rips or other damages. For details about sending packages please contact us by e-mail office@sinvi.ro or by phone +4 0771 584 422.Thank you for getting involved, SinVi Team. 3.75/5 (4) Apreciaza

Joy in a box

Afisari: 3,927 Probably, many of you know about the shoebox campaigns, campaigns focused on collecting small objects that fit inside a shoe box, taking place around the holidays in order to help and bring joy to the ones in need, especially children. The SinVi Foundation runs a campaign called “Joy in a Box” with the main purpose of helping 300 children from Gheboaia, Dambovita. We would be very glad if you could show some support and help us bring happiness to these children with limited possibilities. After a quick visit, we discovered a group of people committed and willing to get involved in their community’s development.  Although the pupils are coming from a very rough, limited socio-economic environment, the School of Gheboaia proved to be a favorable climate for learning, as some of its students later graduated from prestigious Universities in Romania. These merits are due to the combined efforts of the students, parents, and also especially to the teachers, whose active involvement is highly appreciated, given the overall context of lack in endowments.Because we are a NGO that promotes education and culture, we would like to thank Mr. Mihai Tarba, the headmaster of the school, who, despite being a young teacher, shows such will and dedication for his mission and an inspiring attitude, that is rare in the nowadays Romanian society.Thank you for coming together with us and we are waiting you, whenever you are available, for a short visit. We would like to share all the beautiful things we are doing … Mai mult >>
